VCA schedules

1 star or 2 stars

The "Veiligheids Checklijst Aannemers" exists in a general extensive schedule VCA** and a limited schedule VCA*. The limited schedule is intended, in principle, for contractors with less than 35 employees who do not have work carried out for them by sub-contractors. For both VCA-schedules the requirements are concerned with safety information and training, VGM-policy execution, risk inventory, approval of tools and materials and the making available of personal protective equipment. In addition, for both forms, there is a maximum limit to the number of accidents. This is derived from the index figure on the basis of NEN 3047. Finally, for both of the schedules the safety administration system must have been implemented for a minimum of three months before certification can take place.

VCA Petrochemistry

From 2008 there is a new VCA company certificate in use. This is VCA Petrochemistry. The goal this certificate has to achieve is to accomplish a more safe environment on the specific situation. VCA Petrochemie is meant for companies which work in petrochemistry. It is possible for all VCA** certified companies to gain this new certificate. Unfortunately, VCA Petrochemistry is not nessacary as company certification. VCA Petrochemistry has a lot of overlap with VCA* and VCA**, but there are much more strict demands. The number of demands for VCA Petrochemistry is 47.

VCU

VCU is different than the other VCA company certificates. VCU stands for Veiligheids Checklist Uitzend- en Detachingbureaus, which means that this certificate is especially for intermediaries of employment agencies. You safety management system should cover 29 demands.
